Donovan: The Street Preacher
When I was working on my photojournalism project for school I came across a man named Donovan or at least that is what he told me his name was. He was in Woodruff Park preaching to all the homeless sitting on the tables in the sweltering heat. He was a guitarist and talked about his dedication to Jesus.
He also talked a lot about the sins that all people take part in and how they need to repent for them or they will be held responsible on judgement day.
He only gave me what he said was his first name and was not in the mood to talk to me. I think it might have to do with my camera.
