Earl's Restaurant

A few weeks ago Me, Lindsey, Maria and her friend Ronald all went to The Earl.  The Earl is a restaurant chain in Canada and they serve a variety of different foods.

This was the first time we went to a restaurant in Fort McMurray and after hearing all the time from Maria about the type of place Fort McMurray is I didn’t think they even had nice restaurants.  Well I was pleasantly surprised.  It is a very upscale restaurant with a lot of different dishes and I usually have a problem with the latter because I like my restaurants to specialize in a particular type of cuisine.

Our waitress was very nice and accommodating when it came to ordering so that was a plus.  She did try to explain to me what Tandoori Chicken was and I thought her explanation was rather funny.

The food was okay but it was really the atmosphere that surprised me.  I got a burger (forget the name) but it tasted like Steak & Shake’s burgers only not as good.
