Vancouverage Night III: Dock Walk for Bubble Tea

One of the nights during our stay in Vancouver, the three of us decided to put our fatigue aside (or maybe that was just me) and take a walk down to the harbor. We were staying quite close to the water and wanted to check it out. And of course, Hassan craved bubble tea, so we had to make a stop at an adorable Japanese tea shop to satisfy his taste buds.

What we didn’t plan was the photo session that the stroll spontaneously lapsed into. The water and lights were pretty, and we decided to take advantage of them as a great background. There’s some great couples shots of Hassan and I, and some cute ones of Maria and I. Please ignore our gangsta poses. You can take the girls outta the ghetto, but can’t take the ghetto outta the girls …

Please enjoy our lameness and Maria’s inability to focus a camera. :)

Mmmmm, that bubble tea looks good, but there’s no way it could hold a candle to the bubble tea from Little Italy in Downtown Atlanta!!

  2. Nothing can Hiroki, although now that has become the time I think about when I am considering bubble tea. Man it was so bad, however this Tea House, we went to had really good Bubble Tea and they also offered smaller tapioca balls as a substitute.

  3. Hiroki says:

Smaller tapioca balls? No way Jose! My mantra on balls, “Go big or go home”. Wait….

  4. Haha, Yeah I stuck to the original tapioca balls. Why mess with something that works?
