In 2005, photography became my passion. That isn’t to say that before 2005 I was uninterested, I just didn’t know there was anyway for me to do it professionally. That year, I started shooting weddings and portraits and while that was enthralling, it left me largely unsatisfied. I was always interested in photojournalism and I decided that though commercial photography was lucrative for me, it wasn’t the route I saw for myself. I wanted something meaningful and something that impacted more then a few hundred people at a wedding. So I began my pursuit toward photojournalism and editorial photography.
To me, one of the most important aspects of photography is imagery. I strive to find it in my images and I enjoy looking at it in the works of other photographers. It moves me, it drives me to be a better photographer, it is one of the biggest aspects of my love of photography and images of people.
